Yeng Kee Restaurant, Taman Maluri

Since I was a little girl, my family and I would only head to Yeng Kee to satisfy our seafood noodle cravings. It is located opposite Old Town Kopitiam, not hard to miss but be sure to not mistake it for Hoong Kee. We’ve tried Hoong Kee twice, and both times we’ve been let down! Don’t be fooled by the looks of the better looking restaurant!

The pomfret

Check out the size of that! So fresh and juicy, me likey!

Red Grouper

Dry ramen noodles to go with my bowl of seafood!

Well, seafood noodles are not always easy on the wallet. So do not be surprised when you notice the prices as you pick up the menu! My favourite combination has always been the oysters and the red grouper. Grandpa only goes or the “ma yao fish head” porridge & grandma loves having the pomfret.

Sometimes when we’re feeling a little greedy we’d throw in the fish cakes as well, which costs RM 10!
